The Capital City Marching Festival (CapCity) has celebrated student musicians from across Central Texas since 1993. Now proudly hosted by the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA), CapCity is the only event of its kind in Austin—the Live Music Capital of the World—spotlighting the talent, dedication, and spirit of high school marching bands.
Each year, more than 5,000 students, directors, and supporters gather at the Toney Burger Center for an unforgettable showcase of music, precision, and pageantry. More than just a competition, CapCity is a place where bands come together to inspire, connect, and share their artistry in a spirit of unity and passion.
